Joe Fisher is the father of two children and is passionate about the importance of loved ones reading to young children on a frequent basis.  Rusty the Forgotten Fire Engine is his first children's book and is the written version of a story he created and told his children when they were young.

Jaye Boswell was an award winning art teacher for twenty-two years in the Lee County School System.  One of her class projects grew into the nationally acclaimed Junior Duck Stamp competition.  Although retired from teaching Jaye remains active as an artist creating work that reflects her love of art, the environment, and children.
